1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to the buymythoughts app and the digital content provided through it.

buymythoughts is operated by BUYMYTHOUGHTS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17442418.

By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.

The App Store and Google Play also have their own terms and conditions, which apply separately to your use of those services.

2. About buymythoughts

buymythoughts is a free-to-download app containing optional one-off purchases of randomly selected written digital content.

There are no subscriptions or recurring payments.

The app and its content are provided for entertainment. The thoughts, opinions, stories, jokes and other material in the app are personal and informal and should not be treated as professional advice.

3. Using the app

You may use buymythoughts for your own personal, non-commercial use on compatible devices that you own or control.

You must not:

• interfere with or attempt to disrupt the app;
• attempt to bypass or manipulate its purchase or unlocking systems;
• use automated methods to abuse or overload the app; or
• reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app except where applicable law gives you a right to do so.

You must also comply with the rules and terms of the App Store or Google Play.

4. Buying a thought

Each successful purchase provides access to one randomly selected thought from the available collection.

The random selection is an intentional part of buymythoughts. You cannot choose which thought you receive, and we do not guarantee that a particular thought will be selected.

Each purchase is a one-off purchase. It does not create a subscription or recurring payment.

The price displayed to you at the time of purchase is the price you will be charged. Prices may vary by country or region.

Payments are processed through the relevant app store. BUYMYTHOUGHTS LTD does not receive or store your full payment card details.

5. Digital content and delivery

The thought you purchase is digital content and is provided electronically through the app.

Following a successful purchase, the app will attempt to deliver your randomly selected thought immediately.

You do not need to create a buymythoughts account to use the app.

Because purchases are designed as one-off consumable digital content, we do not guarantee that a previously purchased thought can be restored after the app is deleted, its local data is cleared, or the app is reinstalled.

This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

6. Cancellation, refunds and your consumer rights

If you are a consumer, you have legal rights relating to digital content. Nothing in these Terms limits or removes those rights.

For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, the relevant app store's payment, cancellation and refund processes may also apply.

If you have a problem with a purchase, you can contact us at info@buymythoughts.com and we will do our best to resolve the issue and provide any remedy required by applicable law.

Where applicable, you may also request a refund through the App Store or Google Play.

7. Intellectual property

The buymythoughts app and its content are owned by, or licensed to, BUYMYTHOUGHTS LTD and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may read, save or share individual thoughts for your own personal, non-commercial use.

We ask that you don't publicly share thoughts in a way that removes the element of surprise for other buymythoughts users.

You must not reproduce, redistribute, sell or commercially exploit a substantial part of the buymythoughts collection, or present its content as your own.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the app or its content to you.

8. App updates and availability

We may release updates to buymythoughts from time to time, including updates needed for security, bug fixes, compatibility, app-store requirements or changes to the technology the app relies on.

We may also change, suspend or stop supporting the app in the future.

If we stop operating or supporting the app, we will take reasonable steps to communicate this where appropriate. This does not affect any rights or remedies you have under applicable law in relation to purchases you have already made.

We do not guarantee that the app will always be available or work without interruption.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use buymythoughts in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or intended to circumvent the normal operation of the app or its purchase systems.

We may take reasonable steps to protect the app and our services against misuse, fraud and security threats.

10. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for providing the buymythoughts app and its digital content in accordance with the rights and standards required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, or limits your statutory consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for problems caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time where reasonably necessary, for example because of changes to the app, applicable law, app-store requirements, security or the way buymythoughts operates.

If we make a significant change, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention where appropriate.

Your continued use of the app after the updated Terms take effect means that the updated Terms will apply to future use of the app, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.

13. Governing law and your consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you under the laws of the country or region where you live.
